The International Association of Animal Therapists (IAAT) is the membership organisation for animal therapists in practice.
The association is run by its members for its members, with a steering committee comprised of esteemed industry leaders, dedicated to delivering the best possible services for all of its members.
Our primary objective is to promote excellence in animal therapy. We are an inclusive organisation that values cooperation and collaboration.
We have over 400 members all qualified and insured in their chosen field of therapy. These include the muscular skeletal therapies, maintenance therapy, alternative, holistic and many more. Our members regularly visit our website to update their details, book training and CPDs and view our research and case studies
Based on data for a 5 month period, the IAAT website gets over 20,000 page views with the average visitor duration exceeding 3 minutes. Over 50% of these visitors are new – looking for therapists to treat their animals, booking onto CPDs/courses or looking to join us.
