Course Details
Welcome to the Canine Rehabilitation Through Exercise course, specifically designed for IAAT members eager to advance their capabilities in canine rehabilitation and wellness. Led by an industry expert, this course employs real dogs and their real owners to focus on core exercises, balance, straightness, planking, proprioception, and more, providing a practical and immersive learning experience.
Throughout this course you will master a range of exercises aimed at improving strength, function, ability, and proprioception in dogs. You’ll learn to identify key muscle groups and integrate targeted exercises into your rehabilitation programs effectively.
By the end of this course, you’ll have a deep understanding of the muscle groups involved and be proficient in creating and customising exercise plans to address various rehabilitation needs. These skills will allow you to develop personalised plans for your clients, ensuring the health and fitness of their dogs while significantly reducing the risk of injuries.
The course features step-by-step, easy-to-follow video tutorials and visuals to ensure that you can apply what you learn effectively. You can learn and revisit the material and engage with it deeply at your own pace. You will have access to your tutor online, ensuring you receive guidance whenever needed.
