This course isn’t intended to replace a full day practical canine first aid course, which will have more time to do into more depth, and will be able to address practical issues such as allowing you to practice things such as bandaging and CPR. However, it should equip you with some solid background knowledge, enough information to deal with minor emergencies, along with hopefully equipping you with the information you might need to identify more serious or life threatening
emergencies.
- Advice given here is only intended for First Aid – the legalities of first aid will come up in the second section.
- Veterinary Care MUST ALWAYS be sought if you are concerned or in the event of an emergency.
