We all know so much about the Rehab, but what about the Prehab? We know all about getting the bodies back to full function after the insult on the body, but what about getting it ready for that insult or operation?
In this lecture you will learn why we need to prepare for the operation ahead. How can we strengthen the body and give it the best and fastest opportunity to heal. If we can prepare the body, we can also prepare the mind. Prepare the patient for the rehab to follow.
All of this will increase the patient’s successful outcome. The evidence tells us that prehab improves outcomes. Now lets learn more about how and why we need to start getting the patients in sooner!
